History and Lore
Terra – The Genesis of Creation
In the beginning, there were two celestial beings: Terra, the Goddess of the Universe, and Ophiuchus. Existing beyond the bounds of the universe before the ‘big bang,’ they sought to create something meaningful beyond mere existence. With the explosion of the big bang, the universe was flooded with energy, expanding rapidly. Terra and Ophiuchus designed the universe so that the energy from the stars would support and stabilize the planets. However, this energy grew unstable, threatening the integrity of the cosmos. To remedy this, they created life forms using star energy, starting with dinosaurs on Earth—the chosen center of their universe.
Despite their efforts, the universe continued to expand into a multiverse, and the instability persisted. In a drastic move, Ophiuchus wiped the slate clean, damaging Earth in the process. He then resumed his search for a resolution, creating the Celestial Sons: Lux, Uranos, Buri, Izanagi, Amun, Quetza, and Brahma. Terra and Ophiuchus formed their bodies and the first souls by tapping directly into the star energy. Alongside the Sons, they created a divine race known as the Annuna, who inhabited Avalon, each with specialized roles and assignments.
When Earth became unstable, Terra made the ultimate sacrifice, diving into the planet to rebuild it and provide everlasting energy from within. She became the World Soul of Earth, ensuring the survival of their creations. Ophiuchus, now alone, traveled to Earth—referred to as Terra in honor of his lost companion. From the dirt infused with Terra’s energy, he created new life forms, shaping their souls with star energy. Although he desired to live among them forever, he ultimately granted them free will, dispersing thousands of humans throughout Terra when they chose independence.
Lux – The Rise of Rebellion
Lux, the first son and Lord of Light, was Ophiuchus’s most treasured creation until jealousy consumed him. Envious of Ophiuchus’s obsession with humanity, Lux rallied his brothers and other Annuna to rebel, seeking their own free will. After their successful uprising, Lux and his brothers created new realms beyond Ophiuchus’s dominion. In these new realms, they cultivated lands, created beings and creatures, and influenced humanity to adopt their ways.
This influence disrupted the energy flow from Earth, causing souls to be siphoned into the new realms and unleashing chaos across the universe. Celestials, creatures, and other beings began interbreeding with humans, corrupting their natural forms. In response, Ophiuchus deployed his legion of Archangels to police the realms, destroying portals, dismantling kingdoms, and eliminating half-breeds. Once the realms were brought under control, Ophiuchus banned celestial beings from entering Terra, allowing only Archangels to intervene when threats were detected. This balance has been maintained ever since.

Champions of Ophiuchus
Crux Khan
Born in Mumbai, India, on May 15th, 2103, Crux Khan’s early life was marked by tragedy and harsh training. His mother, Sonoya Wu, a Christian missionary in India, was forced to be with his father, Kyren, after the invasion. Sonoya’s love for Crux was profound, but she fled the kingdom when he was only three. Crux’s memories of her are faint, limited to the tender way she looked into his eyes.
Raised by his father to be the perfect leader, Crux’s childhood was consumed by rigorous training. Starting at age five, he and other children were forced to fight each other daily to become great warriors. Crux’s upbringing lacked love and compassion, with a sole focus on progress and results. When not engaged in physical training, he was immersed in battle drills, learning to lead, maneuver, and communicate in combat. Crux’s rapid growth and exceptional abilities soon led him to train with the best in the army.
From birth, Crux was subjected to experiments with the element socostrium, which his father injected into him to enhance his strength. This element altered Crux’s DNA, making his body and mind more resilient. His skin became tougher, his sight sharper, and his muscles grew faster and more powerful.
During his teenage years, Crux mastered various martial arts and melee weapons, striving for perfection to please his father. By age 16, he had nearly achieved expert status in each discipline. The fear of failing his father drove him to succeed; any sign of weakness resulted in beatings and isolation.
Crux fought in his first battle at 17, killing many men. While his father was pleased with the victory, Crux felt broken. Despite feeling that hurting others was wrong, he believed he had no choice but to continue fighting for his father and the empire. He decided that when he became king, he would change things for the better.
Adayne Huitzilo
Adayne was not born but created by Lux, the Lord of Light, to serve as an anti-archangel—a weapon against celestial enemies. In his human form as Huitzilopochtli, he was the feared Aztec god of war, tasked with hunting and collecting the souls of Ophiuchus scattered across the seven realms to grant Lux access to Avalon.
For centuries, Adayne fulfilled his purpose ruthlessly, destroying gods, archangels, humans, and creatures alike in his quest to complete his mission. His existence was one of violence and bloodshed, a life defined by a relentless pursuit of power and souls. He then ruled the hellish realm of Sheol as a god-king after decimating it and filling its power void.
In the 14th century, during a sacrificial ritual, Adayne was incarnated into human form in Tenochtitlan, the flourishing heart of the Aztec Empire. There, he became the mortal avatar of Huitzilopochtli, revered as a god-king by the Aztecs. This transformation weakened his celestial powers and left him with only fragmented memories of his divine mission. It was in this human form that he met Metztli, the Queen of the Nagual people, and fell deeply in love with her. Metztli, a powerful healer, helped Adayne maintain his new form and see visions of the future, including the end of their civilization and the elusive promised land he so desperately sought.
Obsessed with saving his people from a fate he had foreseen, Adayne demanded sacrifices of human hearts and blood, hoping for more visions to guide him. His obsession led to madness and ultimately the downfall of the Aztec Empire. Metztli’s unwavering support and love were not enough to prevent the dark path he chose, culminating in the creation of a grimoire, “Miquizpatli” (Cure for Death), which contained spells to summon beings from other realms and track the souls of Ophiuchus.
After the fall of Tenochtitlan and the loss of Metztli, Adayne wandered the earth for centuries, his powers fading as he hid from Lux and other celestial beings who might seek vengeance. Despite his vow never to use his dark powers again, the echoes of his past continued to haunt him. In 2006, he discovered the last soul of Ophiuchus on Earth—Selene, a woman whose presence calmed his rage and healed his emotional scars. They fell in love, and she bore him a daughter, Harper. Seeking a peaceful life, Adayne moved his new family to a secluded farm in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
